Wat is de procedure voor de invordering van onbetwiste geldschulden of IOS-procedure?

Hoe werkt het?

Met de IOS-procedure kan zelf de schulden invorderen die een ander bedrijf bij jou heeft. Zonder tussenkomst van een rechtbank of incassobureau, en tóch volledig juridisch in orde.

Vóór deze regelgeving in 2016 in werking trad, moest je een trage, dure – en vaak frustrerende – juridische procedure doorlopen om onbetaalde facturen te innen.

De wet op de invordering van onbetwiste geldschulden (kortweg: IOS) zorgde voor een ware revolutie in de incassowereld. Vandaag hoef je niet meer naar de rechtbank om de betaling van een onbetwiste B2B-factuur af te dwingen.
